I have also used clipart from other providers and unfortunately I wasn't very good at keeping track of what I got or from whom (although I am getting better at that now) so if you should notice yours please leave a comment with your web address and I will gladly add it to the credits or remove it if that is your wish, with my apologies.

FROM VEGGIES TO FLOWERS

One of my very first gardens "the pond garden below" started out as a vegetable garden, everything grew great and we had more vegetables than we could ever use "for about four years", then it seemed like all our neighbors thought a cat would make a nice addition to their families, unfortunately cats like freshly dug soft soil and my vegetable garden soon became the mother of all litter boxes, I soon found myself digging up more cat feces than weeds and more and more the thought of eating anything from this giant litter box made my stomach turn, so the next year my vegetable garden became a flower garden "surrounding two in ground ponds", now the cats can do their business and I can just sit back relax and listen to the soothing sounds of my ponds, "but what is this, why it's the new peony I just planted last week, but whats it doing here all shriveled up and so far away from its freshly dug hole", I'll give you one guess and you can bet your right

BLUEJAY

One morning while I was in my kitchen I heard a loud thump against my front door and when I looked up I noticed this Bluejay with its one wing bent back sliding down the glass and landing on the deck. I rushed outside fearing it had broken its wing. When I got outside the Bluejay was sitting up and its eyes were open but it looked quite stunned, I looked it over carefully but didn't touch its wing (in case it was broken I didn't want to make it worse than it was) but I did stroke its chest and head with my finger hoping to put it at ease so it didn't think that I was there to hurt it. About 5 minutes later I decided to rush inside and get my camera, the Bluejay turned its head to watch me leave which I took as a good sign, I rushed back out as quickly as possible not wanting a neighbours cat to get a hold of it while it was so defenseless. For the next 10 minutes I got a few pictures and just sat with it. To my relief it finally came around and flew a short distance to the rail of the deck, it sat there for several seconds before flying another short distance into the Cedar tree at the side of the house. I took one more picture of it while it was in the tree and included it as one of my Jigsaw Puzzles. It was another 12 minutes before it felt strong enough to leave the Cedar tree.
